Tulum

I forgot I uploaded these photos but then never wrote the post. Anyway these are from our excursion to Mayan ruins at Tulum. The setting was gorgeous and we got enough sun to make use of the beach there.

Cozumel!

Late Saturday we returned from our honeymoon in Cozumel which was probably the most stress-free vacation possible! (As I'm sure you can imagine from the photo.)

The hotel staff was quite talented! We had a different creature everyday and one day a real frog came to hang out in our shower...we didn't get a picture of that one.

Anyway we had a great time but we were ready to get back home. Now it is back to classes and work which means we'll be ready to go back to the beach soon!

Everytime we have a box containing alcohol Cinders cannot seem to leave it alone...

End of the semester!

Yeah! The semester is over so we'll have a short break from Linguistics...at least from classes until mid-January.
Theoretically I will have time to actually post things here. I've been done for almost a week now and I'm still trying to make it through the 'to do list' that had accumulated over the semester so I'm not making any promises!

Last trip to cabin for '08

A couple weekends ago Yohann and I went up to see Mom & Dad at the cabin one more time before their departure for Texas. We all went on a lovely nature walk...it was a bit cold but we needed supplies!


Afterwards Mom & I made some decorations for the Thanksgiving table...I hope they last that long!

Back in the cities, Yohann bought his skis this past week and so is now impatiently waiting for snow. Katie is spending all her time trying to figure out how tense works in Malay. The Charlets (in France) are doing well. Yohann's sister Elodie is traveling around India for a few weeks so we've gotten to see some great pictures.
We're ready for some turkey & stuffing and a couple of days off!!
