See Dad, you don't need an ipod or anything you can just make one! I think Christine would love this too! ;)

Visiting Rebecca

We had a great time visiting Rebecca (& her puppies!) this past weekend. We got to do a little bit of hiking in the mountains -- well gasping for breath was more like it for some of us.

And we also got to go to the March Pow Wow in Denver. Very cool to see all the dances and costumes.

Red Rocks...sigh. Yohann got to listen to Rebecca and I singing random verses of Sunday Bloody Sunday and other songs from U2's Red Rock concert. His response was mostly, 'what?' I think I will now have to make him sit down and watch the VHS tape while I recite all the words. ;)
All in all it was a great time!!

Exciting happenings at our house

Two weeks ago we ordered a canister vacuum online (apparently no one has them in store) and earlier this week it arrived. "Yeah, now we can vacuum under the bed without moving the bed!!"
And since we bought it from Kohls online they sent us incitements to spend more money by giving us $40 at their store.....So we bought new bright sunny things to put in the bathroom!
It is now the nicest room in the house.
Unfortunately late this week all of our 'home improvements' suddenly took a different turn to include 'car improvements' when Yohann was cut off by another driver on his way home from work. Hmm think they'll take Kohls Cash?

Tulum

I forgot I uploaded these photos but then never wrote the post. Anyway these are from our excursion to Mayan ruins at Tulum. The setting was gorgeous and we got enough sun to make use of the beach there.

He's eating a piece of banana that someone threw to him.

The beach that the temple and other ruins overlooked.

Cozumel!

Late Saturday we returned from our honeymoon in Cozumel which was probably the most stress-free vacation possible! (As I'm sure you can imagine from the photo.)

The hotel staff was quite talented! We had a different creature everyday and one day a real frog came to hang out in our shower...we didn't get a picture of that one.
Anyway we had a great time but we were ready to get back home. Now it is back to classes and work which means we'll be ready to go back to the beach soon!
